Bank of India has signed a 20-year lease at 1212 Avenue of the Americas, according to Commercial Observer.
The 14,630-square-foot deal covers the entire 12th floor of the Midtown office tower. Bank of India is relocating from 277 Park Avenue, adding a new office presence at 1212 Avenue of the Americas.
The lease comes as the building moves forward with a major renovation. The next phase includes a 15,000-square-foot amenity center on the second floor with a board room, three conference rooms, a café and a tenant lounge. The improvements are designed to give companies more flexible spaces for meetings, collaboration and day-to-day work.
With its 20-year commitment, Bank of India joins the growing roster of companies choosing 1212 Avenue of the Americas for a long-term Midtown location.
