BankUnited expanded its New York office presence at 450 Park Avenue, adding office space and extending its lease for a long-term commitment in Midtown, according to Commercial Observer.
The bank added a 10,392-square-foot office floor and extended its existing space on the second floor and mezzanine, bringing its total footprint at 450 Park Avenue to 27,392 square feet. The expansion strengthens BankUnited’s presence in the Plaza District while keeping its primary New York office at the building.
The deal follows BankUnited’s earlier expansion at 450 Park Avenue in 2021, when it added space for executive offices. The latest agreement reflects the company’s continued investment in its New York operations.
