Glasshouses has signed a long-term 70,000-square-foot lease at 175 Greenwich Street, according to Commercial Observer.
The company plans to open Glasshouse Downtown across two full floors at the base of 175 Greenwich Street, adding a large event venue to the World Trade Center area. The space is expected to host conferences, corporate events, nonprofit gatherings, productions, and other large-scale events.
The new location will span floors 25 and 26 and is designed to handle nearly 1,500 guests. The report says construction and design work are expected to wrap up in 2028.
Set within the World Trade Center complex, 175 Greenwich Street gives Glasshouses a major downtown presence in a part of Manhattan that continues to draw large companies, visitors, and event activity. For a venue business, the scale and visibility of 175 Greenwich Street make this a notable move.
